Stacey Starr is a passionate HR expert with great knowledge in a variety of HR topics, including recruiting, vendor and contract management, and CRM/LMS Administration. She is skilled at building trusting relationships with internal and external partners, as well as working across matrices with the ability to prioritize the benefit to an entire organization. Stacey believes strongly in making data-driven decisions, investing in solutions that are frugal and efficient, while always looking for ways to improve performance.
After receiving her education from the University of Akron, Stacey built an impressive career at Progressive Insurance, climbing the ranks from Call Center Representative to Senior Recruiting Marketing Specialist. This experience led her to our team at People Solutions Center in 2020, where she has been a great asset to clients who want to learn more about self-sufficiency in the HR world. Stacey is passionate about bringing a diverse candidate slate to clients and educating them about why it’s important to think outside the box when recruiting for an ideal candidate. She says that recruiting is “kind of like a puzzle, knowing which pieces will help narrow down the candidate pool to find the right person at the right time.”
