With over 15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, Nilsa brings a well-rounded and strategic approach to recruiting and workforce planning. Nilsa began her career in Recruiting and, driven by a desire to understand the broader HR landscape, pursued and earned her degree in Human Resources. During that time, she also gained valuable experience as an HR Business Partner, supporting employees and leadership through key areas such as employee relations, talent development, and organizational planning. While Nilsa appreciated the broader HR function, she soon realized that her true passion lies in Talent Acquisition—where she could directly impact business success by aligning top-tier talent with the right opportunities.
Since then, Nilsa has specialized in full-cycle recruitment across both high-volume and corporate environments, placing talent in exempt and nonexempt roles across a variety of industries including finance, healthcare, technology, and customer service. Her experience includes leading large-scale hiring initiatives for call centers supporting clients such as Sirius XM Radio and US Bank, as well as recruiting for specialized healthcare positions. Nilsa prides herself on being a trusted Talent Advisor who partners closely with hiring managers to understand their business needs, offer data-driven recommendations, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences at every step.
Currently based in Florida and originally from New York, Nilsa brings East Coast energy and a people-first mindset to her work every day. As the spouse of a retired Army veteran, Nilsa is also deeply committed to supporting veterans in their transition to civilian careers, and takes great care in presenting their military experience in a way that resonates with hiring leaders. Nilsa is currently pursuing the Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC) to further enhance her expertise, stay ahead of industry trends, and solidify her commitment to being the best Recruiter and Talent Advisor she can be. Nilsa strongly believes that hiring is one of the most critical and personal aspects of business—and she is proud to play a key role in shaping organizations through the power of great talent.
